Integrated Health Home
Counseling Associates is one of many community-based Integrated Health Homes across Iowa.
Our team provides whole-person, patient-centered, in-home care coordination for adults with a mental illness who are enrolled in Medicaid. Among the goals is to reduce hospitalizations and emergency room visits.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy

This evidence-based treatment is for young children with behavioral problems. A therapist uses a one-way mirror to observe you and your child interact in a playroom and provides in-the-moment coaching through an ear device, helping you learn to manage your child’s behavior.
Community Outreach and Training
Counseling Associates offers a variety of community outreach and training sessions.
Social Skills Group Intervention
Social Skills Group Intervention is a structured 10-week social skills group hosted at local elementary schools. The group helps children build social skills, reinforces pro-social attitudes and behaviors, and teaches coping strategies for social situations. Eligible children may be referred by teachers or parents.
